A Message Regarding the Situation in the Middle East

March 18, 2026

The security situation in parts of the Middle East remains fluid. Conditions can change quickly, and travel disruptions — including flight cancellations and airspace closures — may occur with little warning. Canadians in the region should follow all instructions from local authorities.

The safety of Canadians abroad is a top priority. An updated travel advisory is in place for Iran, Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Bahrain, Jordan, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen.
